This year, TRAILME continue to be our designated app to record racing results. It is an authentic and innovative app that provides accurate real-time route tracking for runners. Friends and relatives of racers can also view their progress through the app and provide real time support. On top of that, the instant leaderboard on TRAILME brings about new experiences to the runners.  Please download and register the TRAILME app via App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

The race trail of RCWT 2022 consists mainly of Wilson Trail sections in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. The full marathon course at ~42km starts from Tai Tam Reservoir Road, passing though Yau Tong to Gin Drinker’s Line and ending at Shing Mun Reservoir. Along the route are well-known mountains which add ~1800m elevation to the race.  Challenge aside, the route brings you beautiful scenery of both the suburbs and urban areas, and also a glimpse of Hong Kong’s war history through the historic sites along the road.

Background information

The Raleigh Challenge – Wilson Trail (RCWT) was first launched as an internal event in 2000 with the aim to raise funds for Raleigh Hong Kong. Due to the good response from the participants, the event has been open to the public since 2003. The theme of this competition is “You Walk the Trail. Youth Change the World” which means each of your steps on Wilson Trail will contribute to supporting more youth in serving the worldwide community!

Fundraising Purposes

Same as previous years, the donation raised in the RCWT will be used to support the overseas and local youth development projects organized by Raleigh Hong Kong.
