Registration

Race Kit Pick-up Arrangement

Before the event day, participants are required to collect their race kits (including Number Bibs and Wristbands with timing chip) in a designated period and venue. During the collection period, participant tees will be distributed to those with tee sizes selected in their online application. Details will be emailed to participants in mid September.

Registration

Before going to registration area on the event days, every participant has to bring and wear his/her own race kits including:

  1. Number Bib (printed with name of participant) at the front of the body, and
  2. Wristband with timing chip on wrist (except for Relay Team)

Upon arrival of all members at registration counter, the Organizer will:

  1. collect the duly signed Health Declaration and Disclaimer ;
  2. check the following required equipment (which must be carried along during the race for safety sake of participants):

Team Equipment

* Mobile Phone (with enough batteries throughout the race)
* Wristband with timing chip (applicable to Relay Teams only)

Personal Equipment

* Number Bib (printed with name of participant)
* Wristband with timing chip (not applicable to Relay Teams)
* Torch or Head Lamp (with enough batteries throughout the race)
* Whistle

In case of injury during the race, participant has to fill in the incident report form printed at the back of number bib for reference of the rescue team. Every participant please carries a pen for necessary use.

Note:  On the event days, every participant must bring along his/her own HKID/ passport or its clear copy for verifying identity upon request of our staff at Start Point / Checkpoints / Finish Point.

Luggage Handling Area (Not applicable to Relay Teams)

Each team, if required, can store ONE well-packed luggage there. Below is the upper limit of each luggage:

Luggage Storage Regulations

1. Restricted Items: Breakable Items, Valuable and Flammable Items
2. Please prepare your own waterproof bag to pack your luggage.
3. The Organizer is not responsible for any damages or loss during handling, transiting and storage of any luggage.
4. The Organizer has the right to re-organize luggage storage arrangement during any special situation or adverse weather.

Arrive at Sub-Checkpoints (SCP)

The whole team should gather and register immediately upon arrival, and report to the staff at sub-checkpoints.

  • Register arrival time with timing chip. Please ensure successful recording.
    (Note: The purpose of setting up the sub-checkpoints is for time recording and to ensure that participants are on the right route. NO food or water will be provided.)

Arrive at Finish Points and Collect Luggage

Upon arrival at Finish Point of corresponding course (Prohiker - Round Trip Course: Tai Tam Reservoir Road / Explorer - Day Course: Shatin Pass / Challenger - Whole Course and Adventurer - Night Course: Sha Tau Kok), register immediately as a full team at the Registration Counter.  Teams completing the designated route with the shortest time and without violating the Rules and Regulations will be winners.

  1. Register course completion time with timing chip. Please ensure successful recording.
  2. Checkers may request participant(s) to show his/her original Identity Card/Passport or clear copy to verify his/her identity. If document cannot be shown on-site, team may result in no ranking.
  3. Participants can collect their stored luggage at designated Finish Point or Turning Point.
